Joe Altieri - Host of Wake Up To The Vibe!

Joe Altieri is an Amsterdam native who has been in the music business for over 25 years. Once a private party Disc Jockey, Joe is no stranger to the microphone. He truly enjoys playing music for his listeners and loves getting involved in community events.

After years of experimenting with his own recording studio, a release of his self produced CD (Back In a Day with Joe Sorento) and a one year trip to Nashville, TN, Joe considers radio to be the most rewarding job of them all.

Joe Altieri is the creator of Wake Up To The Vibe and currently owns his own publishing/design company where he publishes a local monthly magazine called Montgomery County Life.

Joe is a proud father of 11-year-old Dominick Altieri (Johnny Q. on Sunday nights right here on WCSS 1490) and also serves on the Steering Committee of T.I.L.T. Johnny Q has been known to sit in as co-host on mornings when school is out of session.
